We invite all CLA families to join our Family Advisory Committee (FAC). The FAC is a collaborative group that meets in October, December, February, and April to discuss school improvement goals and charter school advocacy at the local and state levels.
We will be meeting on Tuesday, February 18th at 5pm at the K-8 Campus (585 Nick Yount Rd, Eagle Point)

Staff Spotlight - Mrs. Curry
Mrs. Curry is a Social Studies, Pathways, and Elective Teacher at CLAHS. If she is not helping scholars learn about global issues and conflicts, you can find her helping our Pathways Scholars through their college courses and preparing Seniors financially for the future. Seniors and Senior Parent/Guardian, you should be meeting with Mrs. Curry to complete FAFSA and Oregon Promise (OSAC) applications NOW!

Amanda is a Junior at CLA and she is defining her (+).
She is a member of the National Honor Society and a rockstar softball player for Preps Academy and Crater High School. Whether she is on the field or in the classroom, Amanda is an embodiment of the word COMMITMENT. She is committed to her academics and athletics, doing whatever it takes to reach her goals! Did you know Amanda attended a try out at Oregon State University last month where over a dozen recruiters were present? This young lady is on FIRE! 🔥 CLA is proud of you, Amanda!

2 HOUR LATE START - THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2025, CLA is on a 2-hour late start tomorrow. K-8 will begin at 11:00am and HS will begin at 11:10am. All EPSD9 buses will run 2 hours later than normal. PLEASE NOTE: For those families living in higher elevations EPSD9 buses will run pre-identified Snow Routes/Staging Areas. CLA Staff Spotlight - Mrs. Tarrant
Mrs. Tarrant has been an invaluable asset to the CLA Scholars program for the past three years. She excels at building strong, meaningful connections with scholars, offering support both in and outside of the classroom. Mrs. Tarrant's dedication goes beyond simply assisting; she creates an environment of trust and encouragement that helps students thrive. Her collaborative spirit and positive attitude make her a fantastic teammate, always ready to lend a hand and ensure that the team and scholars succeed.

"I started as a parent volunteer with Crater Lake Academy, finding the school for one of my children who needed a different school environment.
