8th Grade Washington DC Fundraiser - November 10th ... TODAY!
Today is a great day to get some pizza! Several of our CLA 8th graders will be heading to Washington, D.C. this spring for an unforgettable educational experience! To help support this exciting opportunity, Abby’s Pizza in Eagle Point is generously donating 20% of all sales on the second Monday of each month from 4:00–8:00 PM, and proceeds will even be matched to further support our students! If you don’t have dinner plans on Monday, November 10th, stop by Abby’s Pizza in Eagle Point for a great meal and a great cause.
Our goal is to make this Washington, D.C. trip a yearly tradition for all CLA 8th graders—and your support helps make that possible!

With her wealth of experience and steady leadership, Mrs. Schnur plays a vital role in ensuring not only that mathematics are taught with clarity and care, but that our middle schoolers stay on track and engaged in all aspects of their learning.
Her dedication to student success goes far beyond the numbers as she brings consistency, heart, and a deep understanding of what our middle schoolers need to thrive. As an integral part of the CLA team, Mrs. Schnur sets the tone for excellence and teamwork, and we are incredibly lucky to serve alongside her.

It's Picture Day Retakes. Mark your calendars! Picture retakes are on Wednesday, October 15th from 9:30-1:00.

We are excited to highlight Mrs. Lisle! Her path to education began while she was pursuing a degree in mental health counseling. During her studies, she started subbing, later became an emergency substitute, and was soon encouraged by the district to become a licensed teacher. She also earned her master’s degree through Eastern Oregon University. She shares that the best part of teaching is the relationships she builds with scholars and the joy of watching them grow. Her personal motto, “Practice makes progress,” guides her both in the classroom and beyond.

Our scholars gained valuable insights into law enforcement careers and were especially excited to interact with the K9 units and explore the SWAT vehicles. Thank you to the dedicated officers for sharing their time and expertise with us.
