Thank you to the Explorer Campus Engagement Committee for jumping in to make our Hallway beautiful as we moved into Literacy Night.

A standout scholar at Crater Lake Academy High School, Malia Mahavong balances athletics, leadership, and academics with remarkable dedication. Through The Pathways Academy, she is pursuing her associate’s degree at Klamath Community College as she defines her “+” and prepares for her future. Malia is a member of the National Honor Society, where academic excellence and leadership are celebrated, and she serves on the Student Council, representing her peers and helping organize meaningful school events. As a member of the Eagle Point High School Wrestling Team, she trains rigorously, developing discipline, perseverance, and teamwork that extend far beyond the mat.
Last year, Malia was selected to participate in the Sister City exchange program between Eagle Point and Showa, Japan; an experience that expanded her cultural understanding and fostered international friendships. Through this opportunity, she gained a broader global perspective and a deeper appreciation for cross-cultural collaboration.
