While Mr. Young isn't new to our community, his impact continues to grow. For years, he has strengthened the sense of belonging across our campus by facilitating small groups, through mentorship, guiding student-led publications, and hosting mental health and wellness events. In this new role, he’ll continue doing what he does best: building meaningful connections and inspiring every student group at CLA to feel right at home.

We are excited to introduce our new Social Science and Language Arts teacher at the Navigator Campus! Mr. Smith comes to us with years of experience across upper elementary through high school classrooms, alongside a strong background in construction prior to his teaching career.
As a dedicated history buff with a deep appreciation for literature, Mr. Smith is ready to put his passions into action in the classroom. He is also launching an exciting new Robotics Club this year!
Mr. Smith inspires students every day to represent themselves and CLA well in everything they do.

We are thrilled to introduce our new CTE and Math teacher at the Navigator Campus! Mr. Eagar joins us with a rich background as a business owner, licensed plumber, and dedicated Career & Technical Education teacher with over a decade of experience in the classroom. He is also the co-founder of Engage Trade School.
Driven by the belief that true opportunity and growth stem from challenging oneself to "Do hard things," Mr. Eagar is passionate about hands-on learning. Nothing inspires him more than watching students master new skills and ignite their own excitement for learning.

His relationship-centered approach, coaching experience, and passion for supporting scholars make him a great addition to our team. Scholar Spotlight - Wyatt and Jake
Congratulations to Crater Lake Academy scholars Wyatt and Jake for completing the Ready2Respond and iBuild construction programs this summer! Through these programs, Wyatt and Jake spent their break in the field gaining real-world construction experience. In addition to technical skills, they focused heavily on core employability skill development that will serve them well in any career path they choose. Thank you to our partners at Engage Trade School for providing these impactful learning opportunities, and congratulations to Wyatt and Jake on their achievements!
